It used to be that Liberty Hill was considered to be way past the fringe of Austin. However, Liberty Hill is now a quick jaunt down the highway, whether you’re coming up 183, 183A, Ronald Regan (aka Parmer Lane), or even I-35. Located just 13 miles (give or take) west of Georgetown and approximately 10 miles (if that) from Leander, Liberty Hill is quickly becoming the “go to” town for those who want to be out of the metropolitan area of Austin, yet still close enough to shopping and entertainment.
Acreage, including small tracts, are still available, in addition to numerous subdivisions. Whether you want to be secluded from the world or in the midst of the social hub of Liberty Hill, you have many options from which to choose.
Neighborhoods include Bear Creek Country Estates, Bear Creek Ranch, Carriage Oaks, Cierra Vista, San Gabriel River Ranch, Sundance Estates and a slew of others.
If you’re interested in moving out of the Austin metro area and seeking the quiet of a small town, perhaps Liberty Hill is the city you seek. It’s been my stomping ground for pretty much my entire life. I know it like I do the back of my hand – from the hidden country roads to the major subdivisions, I can tell you more about Liberty Hill than others can tell you about Austin or Georgetown.
